Seven arrested after '186 thefts' at Dundee garage

Seven people have been arrested in connection with almost 200 shoplifting offences at a Dundee garage.

Police said five women and two men, aged between 29 and 50, were identified for 186 alleged shoplifting incidents at the BP garage on Kingsway.

Officers said the alleged offences took place between 26 February and 28 May.

Sgt Stuart Paton said: "We will continue to work closely with local retailers and would encourage those in the retail sector to come forward and report any criminal activity directed towards them."
