Motorcylist dies in hospital 10 days after van crash

A 65-year-old motorcyclist has died 10 days after he was involved in a crash with a van in Perthshire.

Police said the accident, which involved a blue Honda and a silver Ford Transit, happened on the A822 Gilmerton to Amulree at about 14:10 on 17 May.

The biker, who was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, died on Monday.

Officers asked anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dash cam footage to come forward.
